Born in 1345 (1966) in Masal County, Gilan Province
Dr. Esmail Esdaghpour completed his general medicine program in 1370 at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and, in 1377, obtained his board certification in General Surgery from Semnan University of Medical Sciences. He then successfully completed a fellowship in cardiac surgery in 1383 at Iran University of Medical Sciences – Shahid Rajaei Heart Center, Tehran.
Since 1384, Dr. Esdaghpour has been serving as the Head of the Cardiac Surgery Department at Valiasr Hospital in Tehran. He also served as the Head of the Cardiac Surgery Department at Chamran Hospital from 1388 to 1398. Since 1386, he has also been active as a shareholder and cardiac surgeon at Erfan Private Hospital in Tehran.
Since 1384, Dr. Esdaghpour has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Society of Cardiac Surgeons and is currently serving as the Head of the Cardiac Surgery Group at Valiasr Hospital in Tehran.
