Dr. Ramin Baghaei Tehrani, born in 1346 in Tehran, completed his general medicine program at the University of Tehran in 1371. He then graduated from the general surgery specialty and the cardiac surgery subspecialty programs in 1375 and 1380, respectively.
After starting his academic career, he completed advanced training programs in France.
Since 1394, he has served as the Head of the Cardiac Surgery Department at Modarres Hospital and later as the Head of the Cardiac Surgery Group at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
He has also served four terms as a member of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Society of Cardiac Surgeons.
